I worked on tons of new displays today. That great red paint pie safe i mentioned the other day is all cleaned up and looking yummy! In the clean up process we discovered black stenciling on the side. With help from some young eyes it appears that section is made from a shipping crate, going to Chicago Ill USA.Dan came in tonight to help clean and set up A really special birdseye maple bed room set.A poster bed Wonderful dresser with lg mirror and a commode. Really have to see it! we didn`t leave the shop til 10. lots to do always So we have 2 new display areas ready for the 4th and hundreds of added pieces of inventory. Seeya soon!

We have been out and about this weekend! We found some great stuff. A wonderful very primitive hand made pie safe. It is small, table top or maybe hanging.The very best part is the old red paint. Come in and see! We also found some great white Ironstone, a yellow and green childs cupboard, Dan picked up some WWII photos, a pair of barkcloth type drapes. More more more. We will have it all in for the big 4th sale. see you then

I added lots of smalls to the inventory the last couple of days We Went to a store stock auction this spring and I am just getting it out and priced . Glass fly catchers, tin cookie cutters, the cutest 1930s kids socks, striped, colors, so cute, complete with labels, in the box. Also tins and a great Black Hawk cigar box with cigars!

Ok I am really trying. I have taken the pictures and put them on the computer. Even in a folder named "store photos".It seems everyone in the world can do this but I am struggling with It. I worked on computers for years 15 years ago and vowed
i would never touch one again. It is obvious why! I really do have other talents!

Yes its been along time. I`ve had family commitments of late. However I have been working at the shop lots. I redid the entire back wall all in red white and blue with lots of flags.I think its great!I also added some framed pages from an old song book of "America" and "The Star Spangled Banner". They are cool.
We brought in a great Amana walnut table with one large drop and two drawers.Weve had it for years and can just now part with it. I also just unearthed some old store stock pieces we picked up earlier this spring socks, undies, 2 really unique boxes that look like pantry boxes but are for collars, marked with the size.
I unfortunately am so tech challenged that I am making slight progress on the pictures. Wish me luck!
